Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and commercially strong Contract Specialist with expertise in quantum claims, EOT‑related cost claims, variation claims, and contractual interpretation for large construction and infrastructure projects. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and managing commercial and contractual claims, including prolongation, disruption, variation‑related costs, and other contractual entitlements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage quantum claims for EOT, Prolongation costs, Disruption, Variations, and Additional cost/compensation claims
• Interpret and apply relevant contractual provisions
• Review contracts, subcontracts, and commercial correspondence
• Prepare detailed claim narratives, commercial analyses, and supporting documentation
• Draft contractual notices, submissions, and rebuttals
• Work with planning teams for integrated and accurate claim preparation
• Independently quantify prolongation, disruption, idle resources, and related claims

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management
• 8–10 years of experience in Contract administration, Quantum claims, Construction claims and disputes, Commercial management and EOT cost assessments
• Strong hands on experience with prolongation, disruption, variation, and additional cost claims
• Excellent understanding of contract clauses and claims procedures
• Strong report writing, analytical and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently on commercial claim assignments
• Good knowledge of standard contract forms such as FIDIC, NEC and bespoke contracts
